Tips on How to Get Everyone Involved

Here's a list of easy ways that you can involve your entire community in these programs:

• Put an article/ad in your synagogue bulletin
• Ask your Rabbi to make an announcement during services
• Give a copy of the kit to local youth group leaders and other educators, etc.
• Send children or students home with selections of the kit to do with their parents
• Work with your synagogue's Social Action Committee, Sisterhood, or Men's Club to sponsor or coordinate an activity
• Join with other local synagogues, JCCs, Hillel groups, etc. for a community-wide program or celebration
• Join with local churches & mosques for a community-wide, interfaith activity
• Give Energy Star information to your synagogue's Building/Grounds Committee
