Dr. Peter Dratch manages the endangered species program for the National Park Service. He is involved in restoration projects on plants and animals from the Florida panther in the Everglades to the silversword in at Haleakala in Hawaii. Previously while working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, he analyzed evidence in crimes involving wildlife and testified in courts across the United States. He has lectured on the Jewish and ethical issues raised by conservation challenges and has taught conservation biology to students of all ages.
