Dr. Elliott Norse is founder and president of the Marine Conservation Biology Institute. As staff ecologist for President Carter’s Council on Environment Quality, he defined the concept of biological diversity. Author of over 80 publications, including three books, Dr. Norse has made presentations on biological diversity to several national Jewish conferences and authored articles on biodiversity for COEJL.
