Write Your Own Prayer of Thanksgiving

The eight days of Hanukkah are marked by the Hallel, prayers of thanks. The words "Al HaNisim – for all the miracles and the redemption" are added to the Shmoneh Esrei, the central silent prayer said three times a day, and to the grace after meals.

Consider the ways in which you experience the miracles of light and energy in your life. Write a prayer, or draw a picture, of thanks.
