For Everyone

CELEBRATE LEARN ACTION

Hanukkah is one of the most widely celebrated Jewish holidays. We all look forward to lighting the menorah, spinning the dreidel, singing Hanukkah songs, and eating latkes. This Hanukkah, we invite you to introduce a new component to your traditional Hanukkah celebrations. While you celebrate the miracle of tiny bit of oil lasting a long time, consider ways that we can make our energy sources last for a long time. Especially in light of current events and the growing focus on energy sources, efficiency, and conservation, let Hanukkah be an opportunity to educate your family, class, or synagogue about energy and global climate change within a Jewish framework.
