PARTNERSHIPS

COEJL Regional Affiliates serve as a vital source of community based environmental education, action, and advocacy, involving synagogues, schools, Jewish community centers, camps, and other local Jewish organizations in a wide range of environmental activities. Hikes, “Shabbat in the Woods,” community clean-ups and public policy activities all create opportunities to connect environmental interest and commitment with Jewish values and experience.

Other Regional Contacts are professionals active in the Jewish Environmental field who have extensive knowledge as to related information and activities. COEJL thanks these volunteers who are helping to spread an awareness of environmental justice, tikkun olam and Jewish tradition.
