A Page of Talmud

All pages are in PDF format and require the free Acrobat reader.

Following the layout of a page of Talmud, each packet presents a contemporary statement on an environmental issue as its "mishnah." The "gemara" is a series of commentaries that develop the ideas in the text from Jewish, scientific and public policy perspectives.

Each page can be used as a source of material in creating sermons, lesson plans, study sessions, or as a tool for you to better understand the issue. They can also be reproduced and used as a teaching tool for the analysis of environmental issues from a Jewish perspective. Not only are they engaging, but they are an introduction to the exegetical format of the Talmud and Mikraot G'dolot.
