Jacob has a B.A. in environmental studies and religion, a M.A. in rabbinic studies and is currently working towards completion of his rabbinical degree at JTS and the University of Judaism. Jacob has a decade of experience in organic gardening and farming and a rich background in Jewish environmental and agricultural education. While finishing rabbinical school, Jacob currently serves as the rabbinic fellow for ADAMAH, a farm-based internship program at the Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, as well as the rabbinic fellow for Hazon.
