Nati Passow is a carpenter, writer and educator living in Philadelphia, PA. He currently teaches a course in Judaism and Ecology, runs a carpentry program for high school students and leads service trips in Central America for the American Jewish World Service. Nati is Co-Director of the Jewish Farm School, a farm-based educational organization. He enjoyed two fall seasons at the Teva Learning Center as an educator and administrator, and has continued to work for Teva as a curriculum writer. Over the past several years Nati has studied sustainable building design in Vermont, worked at the garden of the Urban Nutrition Initiative in Philadelphia and established gardening programs at Camp Ramah Darom and the Saligman Middle School of Melrose Park, PA. Nati has been a guest educator at the University of Pennsylvania, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and has presented at COEJL's annual Bloome Institute for Environmental Leadership. Nati holds a B.A. in Religion and Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
