Marla Rottenstreich believes that Judaism and the environment are complementary and often coalescing tools and methods for communication. She has a great deal of experience in leading teenagers & young adults through the woods to celebrate Judaism & the natural world. Marla is the co-founder of the Eco-Kashrut Network, a Yoga Instuctor specializing in Jewish meditation and founder of the Rutgers Jewish Environmental Club. She currently serves on the board of Project Ya’aleh V’Yavo Inc., an experiential learning initiative on Sweet Whispers Farm, Vermont ’s only shomer shabbos, organic, horse-powered maple syrup farm. She has led various workshops at CAJE, Tikkun and RAVSAK Conferences as well as New Jersey syngagogues.
