Rabbi Jeff Sultar is at Mishkan Shalom, a progressive, activist synagogue in Philadelphia. A graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College , Rabbi Sultar founded the Natural Security Program (exploring environmental dimensions of international security) at the Center for Common Security. He speaks and writes regularly about Judaism, environmental concerns, and Jewish spirituality. He contributed the chapter “Adam, Adamah, and Adonai: The Relationship Between Humans, Nature and God” in Ecology and the Jewish Spirit.
