The Green Team:
The Green Team at American Hebrew Academy (AHA) adopted a street adjacent to the school. Every year the students are in charge of cleaning the road at least four times per year. This is part of a greater community program, which educates the public about littering. The Green Team sends letters to elected representatives in Washington (and since AHA has students from all over the country we contact many different representatives). The Green Team also partners with the Piedmont Land Conservancy. In addition to doing clean-ups with the conservancy, we are part of a city-wide butterfly garden project!
